Our Services

Every appointment starts with a health screening to assess any language concerns, establish current wellness, address ongoing infections, and allay anxiety.

Dental Services include,

  • Oral examination

  • Low-radiation Panorex imaging

  • Extraction, filling, and repair

  • Cleaning (painless ultrasonic plaque remover as needed)

  • Oral hygiene education

  • Hygiene kit: brush, floss, paste

Oral care is an urgent unmet need among low-income men and women and a key component of total health. Since our launch in 2017, several hundred men and women have received professional oral care here without charge.

We do not offer pediatric services.

Volunteers

We launched on April 22, 2017, with three fully equipped rooms, ample supplies on hand, and commitments from three teams of dental volunteers. More dentists, hygienists, and assistants have since served when they can, but the waiting list is long, and much more help is needed!

We would like to urge both active and retired dental professionals to prayerfully consider volunteering a few hours of their time and skill, even once a year. Dental Clinic hours are flexible; you can volunteer entirely at your convenience. Call or email to discuss details.

Support

We are grateful to the donors large and small who have contributed funds, equipment, supplies, labor, and skills to launch and continue our dental clinic. In particular, generous early grants from the R.C. Durr Foundation and Delta Dental of Kentucky were foundational.

As a ministry of the Rose Garden Mission, we do not accept government funding. This allows us to offer our service to all who ask for help, regardless of their employment status, income level, place of residence, age, race, gender, etc. We rely entirely on our benefactors, to whom we would like to extend our undying gratitude!

We also have no paid staff, which means every donation goes right to helping those in need. Thanks for your support!
